“Is it because I came into this world earlier than expected”

“Is it because I went to an All Boys school that I delayed getting involved in puppy love”

“Is it because of the degree I obtained ….CUM-LAUDE… and in record time?”

“Is it because when I went into business, I decided to share my profits with my community”

“Is it because of my refusal to take a political office, because of reservations that I have harboured?”

“Is it because I questioned statements made by those who were not used to being questioned?”

“Is it because I chose to consult the Bible whenever I was in doubt about life in general”

“Is it because I shied away from marriage fearing that I might end up divorced?”

“The more I yearn to learn – the more I get confused”

“Perhaps it’s the knowledge I yearn for that merciless confusion rears its ugly head once more.”

“Maybe if I hadn’t stopped to lift those guys soaking wet from that torrential rain, I wouldn’t be lying in this coffin surrounded by family and friends gathered to bid me farewell”
