Is the Familia a La Cosa Nostra style affair?

Not quite. It is the creators, collaborators, architects and friends of FreeRiddim.
We are not limited to editors, journalists, writers and artists that help make this portal what it is. There are people on the ground and up the stairs whose names are a mystery to some but, that does not mean that their efforts and hard work has earned them no respect or recognition from FreeRiddim. Quite the contrary, in fact.
We might not have godfathers and mini mafia thing going on but, you mess with one of us and you'll have the whole gang knocking down your door (and having a party at your parent's house).

What qualifies one to be part of it?

We ask only for a blank cheque and multi million rand tender. A christmas card would be nice as well but, we don't want to sweat the small stuff.

Note that the FreeRiddim portal is non profit. This means that we don't turn a profit at the end of the year and no one gets paid to contribute to this website.
Yes, all these very nice people who are part of the Familia do so out of the goodness of their hearts, considering they don't even get christmas cards.
