I DON'T NEED YOU
- by Wineka Mpetsheni

I have crawled and hustled just to get you
My ears would hear the whistle, and I’d think of you
My crown would always search for the calmness
My nostrils keep on catching your fragrance
Your image still vivid in my mind
But mine eyes would see nothing I believe t’was lust
Was in need of you, you where nowhere to be found
That’s the reason for me sayin’
“I DON’T NEED YOU ANYMORE”

From the day I saw you I thought I was loved
Now I realise I was hypnotised by your truthful lies
Made by you for the sake of satisfaction
Thinking of me was last while you were bound by lust
My heart seeked for rest but couldn’t find it
For I was filled with love while you were full of fake
You keep on blaming my friends yet I know not
The decision was yours. You fooled around
I believe when you see me you’d think you’re a superstar
Yet that’s what I’m not just a woman
Now I ain’t in need of you anymore.
